UEFN - Fortnite Creative - Survival

I was curious what UEFN had to offer over the in-game Fortnite Creative. Trying to figure out clever ways to incorporate survival mechanics into a custom map.

I wanted to build a survival map with traditional survival mechanics. I started by using a prefab island and experimenting with every device available to me.

I think storms and zombies are integral to the Fortnite experience. I tried a few different ideas on how to deal with storms. I am currently on the idea of having persistent storm "safe zones" with random roaming storms.

Hunger and thirst trackers set to tick away points every x amount of time when the game starts. After the timer reaches 0, it triggers a health condition class.

There are currently 3 health condition classes I was experimenting with. One of them slows the player, and another one is a bleed state that triggers a world-wide damage volume that ticks away at health over x amount of time.
